We offer Stretch Mark removal at our beauty clinic in Cobham.

Regardless of body shape or type, many of us will experience the development of stretch marks at some point in our lives.

Stretch marks emerge during periods of skin growth as visible lines on the skin, commonly appearing on areas such as the stomach, thighs, buttocks, breasts, and upper arms. Initially, they may be dark red or purple, gradually fading to a white or silver hue over time.

The skin comprises collagen and elastin, essential proteins that maintain its health, flexibility, and ability to expand during growth. However, the dermis, the skin's inner layer, produces collagen and elastin at a slower rate. When this production lags behind the upper layers, it leads to small tears in the skin, which eventually manifest as stretch marks.

Laser stretch mark removal treatment targets the outer layer of the skin, stimulating the growth of new, healthier skin. While it may not completely erase stretch marks, it can notably diminish their appearance.
