Profhilo beauty treatments for the face at our Beauty Clinic in Cobham.

This is a Hyaluronic Acid moisturising treatment. It stimulates collagen and elastin production into the skin to improve skin tone elasticity and appearance.

Profhilo® works by adding the purest dose of hyaluronic acid into five key points – on both sides of the face – to ensure symmetrical rejuvenation. These points are usually the cheekbones, the nasal base, the tragus, chin and mandibular (lower jaw). Two treatments are needed, where the first dose of hyaluronic acid gradually activates collagen and elastin production, and the second dose elevates the final outcome – to boost hydration, collagen rejuvenation and firmness from within. It is perfect for treating crepey, papery skin on the face, neck, hands and chest, and ideal for reinstating a softer, healthier complexion for chronically dry or dull skin.

The Profhilo® procedure takes approximately 15 minutes to complete the small injections in the appropriate places. Your appointment will usually be booked for 30-45 minutes to make sure there is plenty of time to discuss your medical history, aftercare instructions and to ask as many questions as you need.

How Long Does A Profhilo® Treatment Last For?

A Profhilo® treatment can last up to a year, however, everyone’s skin is different and the individual needs vary greatly.

Does A Profhilo® Treatment Hurt?

The Profhilo® treatment has a minimal level of discomfort. Numbing cream is usually applied to the area 10 minutes prior to injecting the Profhilo® to reduce any discomfort.

How Quickly Can I See The Effects Of A Profhilo® Treatment?

The effects of a Profhilo® treatment are seen after approximately 4 weeks.

What Are The Most Common Side Effects Of Profhilo®?

Some people experience small spots of bruising where the Profhilo® has been injected. This is most common around the corner of the eyes as the skin is thin and there are many tiny vessels. The small bruising can usually be easily covered up by make-up and usually disappears within 1 – 2 weeks.

Is A Profhilo® Review Appointment Included In The Price?

All treatments include a 4 week review appointment to check the progress of your Profhilo® treatment and make sure you are happy with the results.
