Matrix offers three applicators for advanced results:
- RF Microneedling uses ultra thin, insulated needles to create controlled thermal zones that stimulate collagen.
- Fractional Resurfacing and Ablation uses needle free technology to deliver thermal energy into the dermis layer of the skin. This triggers collagen production and dermal remodelling, whilst also leaving the outer layer of the skin intact.
- Infrared and Radiofrequency Bulk Heating; combines IR and RF energy to gently heat the dermis for skin tightening without downtime.

What is the downtime?

How should I prepare for the treatment?

- Stay hydrated
What is the aftercare?
- Apply a cold compress to the treated area 10-15 minutes at a time every 1-2 hours during the first 24 hours - this helps reduce swelling and redness
- Keep skin clean and dry for the first 24 hours
- Do not pick or scratch peeling skin - allow flakes to fall off naturally
- Moisturise skin regularly
- Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks following treatment
- Apply SPF50+ daily
- Avoid applying makeup for 1-5 days
- Do not use harsh exfoliating products or retinoids whilst skin is healing
- Avoid hot showers, saunas and steamrooms for 2-5 days
- Stay hydrated - drink at least 2 litres of water daily
