How does the treatment work?

How does it feel during treatment?

How many treatments will I need?
For best results, we recommend a course of three HIFU sessions, spaced 4 weeks apart. This allows for optimal collagen stimulation and more noticeable lifting and tightening over time. The exact number of treatments may vary depending on your skin condition and goals, and your practitioner will tailor a treatment plan specifically for you.
What is the downtime?
HIFU treatment has little to no downtime. Most clients can return to their normal daily activities immediately after the session. You may experience mild redness, warmth, or slight tenderness in the treated area, but these effects are temporary and typically resolve within a few hours to a couple of days.
When will I see results?
Some clients notice a subtle lifting effect immediately after treatment, but results develop gradually. As collagen production increases, the skin becomes firmer and more lifted over the following 4-12 weeks, with full results typically visible around 2-3 months after treatment.
How should I prepare for the treatment?
For best results, follow these pre treatment steps:
- Avoid sun exposure 24 hours prior to treatment
- Avoid use of retinoids and exfoliating products 48 hours prior to treatment
- Stop use of blood thinning medications unless approved by your practitioner
What is the aftercare?
- Keep your skin clean and avoid touching or rubbing the treated area.
- Moisturize gently with a mild, non-irritating product.
- Avoid harsh skincare products (exfoliants, acids, or retinoids) for at least 24 hours.
- Apply SPF50+ daily.
- Avoid use of hot showers, steamrooms or saunas for 24 hours
- Stay hydrated to support skin recovery and radiance - drink at least 2 litres of water daily
